Hot bread and prison
In America after a long day of transport and possible imprisonment one might find themselves wanting to take a long hot bath upon returning home, in Zambia fresh hot bread does the trick. Luckily transport ended and by the grace of God we did not end up in a Malawi prison. Apparently the immagration officals don't like it if you threaten to call the US Embassy and tell them how to do their job. Who knew? Luckily my wonderful travel companion Katharine had the ability, unlike me, to not laugh in their face and kiss some major ass. (Pardon my french). So we made it back. Well to Lusaka anyways, we'll see what tommorrow brings, peace out love katharine and victoria

I can't wait to hear about that trip! Glad that you are not in a Malawi prison somewhere and a huge thumbs up to Kat for her ass-kissing ability. Miss you like crazy on this side of the ocean. Have a great turkey day if I don't talk to you before then! Rachel

WOW I can't wait to hear all about that!!!! Sounds like a good story. IT is cold, cold, cold, here. Actually it is just like the weather I left in Seattle. Cold, wet,and windy. I must say I am surprised about your brown nose ability. I thought I had taught you better than that. Take Care. How long will you be in Lusaka? Hope the thanskgiving dinner goes well.
Love you

I knew she came to see you for some reason and it turned out it was to keep you out of jail. That should be an interesting story and I am sure we will hear about it.
Have a great Thanksgiving (do they celebrate it there) and take care of daughter and her friend.

Hey buddy,
I think everyone has overlooked one important part of this story - the fact that you know you'd be wanting a hot bath after almost being imprisioned in America, means you have yet another story to tell!! Just kidding! Anyway, I'm thankful for the hot bread that did the trick for you!! I'll pray that your ongoing journey won't lead you anywhere near a prison! Keep having so much fun, and stay safe! I love you and miss you a ton!!

Hi Friend! This sounds like an interesting story! Definitely want to hear about it. Please don't have a "Brokedown Palace" moment (you know, that movie with Claire Danes). I don't think I can get licensed to practice law in Zambia. :) Sounds like you girls are having an exciting time. Miss you and love you lots!!

I'm so glad you are safe back in Zambia. And thank God Kat had a cool head on her shoulders. I could have used her at the P.O. this morning, I guessw it is true around the world that people in authority don't like to be reminded how stupid they are. And I don't guess it is up to me to remind them, even though I feel gifted in that particular area. I am so very thankful that the story had a happy ending. Tap

Dear Sis,
Let me tell you, life behind bars ain't no walk in the dog park. But I can tell you, a hot bath was the last thing I wanted when I finally got sprung! Just give me a nice bowl of Kibbles and Bits. I like Kat better already. You know I already liked her cuz of her name. Love, your dog brother, Jack

Well I think it would have been cool if you went to prison, that would have been a funnier story. Just kidding. I am glad you escaped imprisonment, wow that is a sentence I thought I would never say in reference to you Victoria, maybe Kat!!!! Anyway I am glad to hear you guys are having fun. I wish I was there with you instead I am studying for exams, what fun! Have a great Thanksgiving together.
