Hello all!!! Life here in zambia is good. Katherine comes to see me in 2 days. I can't wait!!! I just got into Solwezi yesterday and I'll be off to get Kat tomm. Site has been going well. It's been great getting back!! The sun has made it really really hot. The rains have come though so that cools it off some. I bathe in the river most days because the cold water feels so good! It's great! One of my bags hasn't reached me yet but it's hopefully at the airport so I will have it in a matter of days! I can't wait!!! I borrowed clothes from my 16year old brother! Needless to say he'll be glad when i get my luggage back too. Anyways, doing great here take care of each other there, love ya vic

It was fantastic getting to talk with you! So glad you got to update your blog as well! And in case no one has told you, OU's Adrienne Peterson got hurt and is out probably for the season! I finally got through on the phone to you and was so happy to hear your voice, it wasn't easy to stay uo to midnight but it was cetainly worth the wait to hear about how things are going with you. Next to talking to you the most important thing that happened today was the cardinals beat the mets to win the N.L. championship. They start the world series Sat. and will be playing the detroit tigers. Go cards!!!! I hope you have a good trip to Lusaka and get your lost bag without any trouble, be careful and don't ever forget how much you are loved. Dad

I felt so sad, I tried and tried to call you yesterday without success. I am thinking it's the calling card. I really miss you, and am so glad your dear old dad made it to midnight. I went to Ruth Fletchers shower yesterday. Of course everyone wants to know how you are doing. Fran was real excited that Katherine was to come see you. Tell her Fran said hello. I sure hope by now that you are wearing your own clothes. Tell Katie I said Hello also.
