2 posts in one day!
So dam day was amazing!!! I think it is going to rank as a top 10 in Zambia when all is said and done. I really loved it. It was so good to get to hang out at a swimming pool. We couldn't swim in the water because of crocs? But they had a pool and it was so nice. I got some sun, not too much but a good amount. The best part though was lunch!! We stopped at the grocery store and got hamburger meat. I think I had a whole cow for lunch!! It was fantatistic. I love hamburger meat and I love grilling and I loved eating chips and salsa!!!! Oh pure goodness all the way around. It was supreme!!! Anyways, I love you all oh an more info on the dam. All the peace corps trainees went. It was about 30 minutes on the other side of Kitwe. Great fun, love ya vic

Your blogs are so descriptive I can envision you doing all of the things on your Homestay day. Remember teaching the girls at camp how to sweep the dirt floors and they thought it was fun?
I wish you could see how excited your mother gets when you post. She immediatley calls Rachel, Lauren, your Grandparents, and sometimes your father. If she has enough time she then calls Nancy. She gets up eagerly at 6:00 on Sunday morning just to try and call you. She was never like that in Tulsa on the weekend was she?
Thanks for the prayers for my father.
Have a good week. Lawana

When you post twice in one day you get two post from me. By now I am sure all of you PCT realize we back in the good Ol USA read everyone else's blogs also. I even taught mom how to get to them yesterday when I was there.
Anyway I commented to Daneen becuase she was the first one to post a picture of you in Zambia. Today as I was reading Michelle's she wrote that she and her friend Victoria sang in her church last Sunday. Were you that friend? I think that is way cool. Have you had any rodents or other creatues in your hut at night?
I Love you

Hey Victoria,
So good to hear from you twice in one day. I am fixing to look up the pictures of you. Sounds like you had a good weekend and I envy you getting to go swimming at the pool. Our weather is not quite nice enough for that yet but it is on it's way. As for the bat that inhabits your dwelling. Keep it alive because they eat mosquitos. It is good to have him around even if he does poop on stuff because he keeps you from being eaten up by little mosquitos. Love you lots and will write more later. Rachel

How great to start my morning off with a message from you. I knew right away it was going to be a great day. I was kind of hoping you wouldn't swim in the lake because I was afraid there might be crocs and gators. But I am glad you got to swim in a pool. It is great to hear about how much you enjoyed your burger, Kay and I take so much for granted without realizing how thankful we should be for how great we have it here in the U.S.A. May God continue to richly bless and protect you and those with you. Love dad

Hey Vic,
It's Rachel over here in the grand ole' USA. Things are going well in T-town. It turned cooler, about 50 degrees today, after being around 80 the rest of the week. It's going to be warmer tommorrow though. It looks like your weather is the same as always in Africa though. I hope this note finds you well. I think you are great. Just want you to know you are thought of, prayed for, missed and loved daily. Rach

We are on the same continent!!! Egypt is amazing, I totally recommend it for your COS trip. I have just seen Cairo so far, and it is insane here with all the people and cars. I feel like I'm playing frogger when crossing the street. I cant wait for you to cook Zambian food for me when I come see you!

Well friend, I'm about to be leaving for a big water day myself! Yep - Key West, here i come! I'm sure the sunset sail won't be nearly as great as your dam day, but I'll let you know! Also, I'll be passing through your favorite ATL, so I'll be sure to send you some postcards! I'd send you a Varisty hot dog too, if I could, but I don't think it would travel well. And besides, Matti would be jealous that another weiner got to see you before she did! ha, ha, ha!! That was a good one! Anyway, I love you, and pray your site visit rocked! Watch out for the flooding chimbushi!! Talk at you later friend!
