Hello friends!!!
Oh how I love the internet!!! Thank you all so much for commenting. It makes me so happy!!!! So before I forget correction from the last email, it is 12k to training on thur when I bike, 24 roundtrip. I also tend to have to bike it more than just thur. But that's okay I don't mind. Sometimes PC sends us a driver so that is really nice. I am getting faster on my bike but I am still definitly the slowest. I leave first and get there last!! At least I get to see everyone on the way right?! Tuesday I will be leading an activity at a school with 2 other girls. I am excited, it should be a lot of fun. I had my first lang test the other day. I did as well as I thought I would do. My trainer is great and very encouraging but I still know I have a lot to learn!!! I am actually able to communicate with my A maama a little bit more and I met another sister the other day. She is in grade 9? and speaks some english so that has been helpful. It does rain here but I love it. It's never to hard for too long so I really enjoy it. Anyways, it's great to hear from ya'll I love you each, take care, victoria

Hey! Just think soon your language will be so awesome you will sound like a native! What are your living conditions like? Running water? Electricity? I alread know about the outhouse thing. Do you know what your job will be at site? I found it on a map the other day, cant really tell much about it. But you will be there soon, so it must be awesome!

I am in Tulsa for Rachel's
Bday. We saw Lee & Lorraine last night @ Susan's. They are all enjoying your blog.
Nancy brought me up to school so I could read the blog. We received 2 inches of snow here last night. I am going home soon so I can make it before another front hits tomorrow.
You are going a great job. Just hang in there. Biking must be giving you some great muscles.
i bet you are getting blonde. I remember one summer after camp you were almost as blonde a Rachel. We went by to see Jess @ the mall but she wasn't in yet. Sammie is still in the drive. May be he will leave this week.
I love you

Hey Girlie! I am writing from my apartment today. This is the first time in a long time that I haven't been at the law school at all on a Saturday. Why? Because we had a crazy ice/snow storm last night and I'm still recovering. We had our Barrister's Ball (Law School prom) last night and when we finally decided to end our night of partying, the doors on my friend's car were frozen shut and there was nothing we could do! What a night, but of course fun nonetheless. (Pictures of the night on facebook, if you're interested) I'm so jealous about all this biking that you're doing. You're going to be in the best shape ever. I'm glad you're learning your language well, and that you're able to communicate. That's a plus. :) I miss you tons!!!! And I'll talk to you soon. Love you!

I can't believe I forgot to tell you in the previous comment that Tiffany is engaged! Chris proposed to her on Valentine's Day. Cliche, I know, but she's very excited, and I can't help but be happy for her. :)

Hi Victoria,
Sounds like you're doing GREAT!! I'm SO happy for you. I know this will be a wonderful adventure for you and great for all those you come in contact with. Phil and I went to Aunt Ruby's funeral in KS day before yesterday and drove all night last night in the snow to get home. Phil has no fear of that kind of weather, but I do. Your dad and Uncle Bobby went also and we had a nice visit with everyone there - cousins we don't see often. We now have 4 to 6 inches of snow on the ground and another inch expected tonight, so I'll be staying home for awhile. Anyway, take care - I think of you all the time and love to hear about your experiences. Bye for now. Love, EM

Hey Victoria,
It's your sis. I am always so excited to see that you have updated. It is nice to hear how you are doing and picture you talking. Sounds like things are going very well for you. Enjoy those bike rides you will have killer legs when you get back to the states and I guess by now you are almost a natural blonde as much as I am! Have lots of fun this week and good luck teaching your class. Rach

Hey Victoria, this is your favorite 4 legged sister, Skye. I know Dad said he was in a hurry yesterday morning when he sent you the message before he left for work. I know he was excited to hear from you, but personally, I was very embarrassed by his penmanship and spelling. I know he graduated from college (but not obedience school) at UCO. I think he would have made better use of his GI bill if he had gone to obedience school at Petsmart, like me. You don't find any misspelled words in my letter and gramatically it is correct. I don't need a stinking smell check, neither. I am working with Paw, but sometimes I want to howl. Well, say hi to all the Zambian critters, and your friend 'Golden'. I love his name!! Get it??? Love, the World's Smartest Golden Retriever, Skye, DVM. Have you tried the grass cure, yet?
11:45 AM
Dear Sis, Jack here. Do you know how hard it is to corral our Paw and Skye on a icy day? They are driving me nuts. Wish you were here to help. I have to do everything around here and Skye just goofs off, kind of like our Paw. Well, I am glad to hear that you are good. I hope you learn the word in Lunda for dog soon. Will you be getting a dog there? A tame one, like me, not a wild one or a kitty? Oh how I'd love my own kitty again, sigh. Keep safe, Love, Brother Jack, the tiger lab.

Hi Victoria,
I hope you're still doing great and enjoying yourself and it sounds like you are. We're still pretty much snowed-in, but at least we're not getting more snow right now. Hopefully this will melt off soon. You know, I thought my dog, Angel, was pretty smart because she does a few doggie tricks and goes to bed when I tell her, and doesn't do any of her duties in the house, but after reading the e-mails that are posted by two other bigger dogs who know how to type, spell, etc., I think maybe I have a really dumb dog. Anyway, I'm gonna see if she can reach the keyboard and if so, maybe I can teach her to type. Now just listen to this - see what happens when dogs write e-mails! It brings something out in the rest of us to want our dogs to write. The next thing you know, Lightening will be writing you e-mails. Anyway, enough of this - I hope you're having fantastic adventures and feeling great! Love, Aunt E.

Dear Aunt E:
The bigger the dog, the bigger the brain.

Hey bud!
I know you get to check your blog comments tomorrow, so I just wanted to leave you another quick note! It is fun-day Friday here and Caroline and I are contemplating eating at "Moe's". I can try to freeze dry some of their amazing queso and mail it to you if you want!! Hey, stop drooling, you're in a public place at a community keyboard!! Anyway, I love you and hope it's been a great week! Looking forward to your next post! Talk at you soon!

I sure hope you get internet access this wekend. Although, I do remember you said something like you weren't sure that you would.
I haven't been anywhere neat to eat like Lauren. So I won't be able to make you drool. That is unless the thought of a Pickle loaf sandwich makes you drool. Shirley is elated. Stacy finally broke up with Jason and this time told him not to call. She has gone to Dallas to look 4 a job. Everytime I talk to Pastor Jim he asks about you.We can all hardly wait to hear from you. Jarene would post a note but she doesn't know how. I told her I would try and get Rachel to go over and help her. Jessica Burks-Barton wants to know how you hair is doin and how much you would give for some Ted's tortillas and queso?
I love you
Mom
